Formed in 2021 in Sélestat, France, Punky Tunes set fire to every stage and club in their path, they became known for their dynamic performances consisting of NOFX, Rancid, Offspring, Interrupters, Anti Flag, Pennywise or more 7 Seconds, Kid Dynamite and Turnstile.
The band released their debut album “We Are In The Future,” with a collection of 6 songs (included a 7 Seconds cover) that are sure to get your blood pumping with a really rad female voice and well done melodies. The album is a mix of skate punk, and pop punk, and it’s full of catchy melodies and fast-paced songs; recorded by Christophe Pulon.
The album kicks off with the title track “The Aftermath” lamenting the fact that punk rock venues are empty, punk rockers are staying home, and the sense of community that once existed in the scene is gone.
