Who doesn’t enjoy a good song by Ramones? Despite the years, their legacy remains marked in new bands that bring new proposals with that Ramones influence.
Let me introduce you to the new Swedish bubblegumpunk band Glitter Litter, formed in late 2022 and featuring Andreas (ex. Sugar Shock and former editor of glam/punk magazine Glitzine). It sounds somewhat like if Ramones shared a bucket of ice cream with New York dolls (and the topping with Bay city rollers).
The band released an EP called “Hits for the Heart” with 5 tracks that, if you’re a fan of this genre, you’re going to get the most out of their catchy and danceable music. Each of the five tracks on the album exudes a sense of rebellion and fun.
This band is a must-listen for any punk enthusiast looking for a fresh and authentic take on classic bubblegumpunk.
