Dallas Busha’s solo project out of Spring Hill, Florida, takes a deep dive into a punk-infused journey with his latest EP, Sharp Cuts and Shallow Hearts released on August 2024. With 6 tracks, he experiments with sounds that are packed with catchy hooks, infectious guitar riffs, and bass lines that hold everything together. The EP feels like a rollercoaster, blending personal struggles with uplifting moments.

In “Rinse and Repeat,” Dallas tackles themes of resilience, pushing forward despite broken promises. Lyrics like “Look at yourself in the mirror, the way you light up a room” and “Send word to your younger self, that it will get better soon” offer a powerful message of self-reflection and hope, while also calling out the weight of failed expectations from our idols.
“Until the End” shifts the focus to a more somber narrative, capturing the damage of broken relationships and addiction. With lines like “the bottom of a bottle, it has no end,” he paints a vivid picture of self-destruction, yet there’s still a subtle undercurrent of resilience—fighting through the darkness, even if it feels like it’s dragging you down again and again.
