Punk Rock, Heartbreak, and Relentless Resilience

If you haven’t been rocking out to L.A. Crimes yet, it’s time you did. These punk rock warriors have been tearing through the scene with their unfiltered sound, unapologetic lyrics, and energy that’s straight-up explosive. And now, they’re about to hit you with something even bigger.

First off, their brand-new video/single ‘R.I.P.’ is dropping and you won’t want to miss it. This track is raw, real, and full of the kind of grit that only punk can deliver. With lyrics like “When my face gets old, cut up with the wrinkles of time / When my lungs go dead, they’ll be growing cancer inside ‘em”, the band doesn’t hold back in confronting mortality, pain, and the harsh reality of life. It’s dark, it’s intense, and it’s all delivered with that signature L.A. Crimes punch. The hook “Take this pain off of me” hits like a gut punch.

And if you’re not already jamming to their full album, you’re missing out. It’s been out since last year, and it’s everything you’d expect from a band that knows how to throw down. If you’re craving a sound that’s both chaotic and cathartic, L.A. Crimes has your back. Recorded by Tim Hutton at The Canyon Hut in Laurel Canyon, CA and Mixed by Riff Audio in Burbank, CA.

Now, let’s talk about February 15th. If you’re anywhere near L.A., you better get yourself to The Viper Room for what’s sure to be an iconic night. L.A. Crimes is bringing the fire to that stage, and you won’t want to miss it.

But it’s not all smooth sailing. There’s been some turbulence in the mix. You might have heard, but just in case, here’s the truth: Bradley had a heart attack recently. Yeah, you read that right. And what did he do? Well, he went on stage anyway. Punk as fuck, right? Here’s what he had to say about it:

“It started with shortness of breath, a tight chest, and a cold, tense arm. Then my jaw went numb, and nausea kicked in. I knew something was wrong, but we were in Havasu, Arizona, and about to take the stage. So, I walked it off, pushed the fear aside, and got up there anyway. We crushed the set—and finished the next two nights of the tour after that. Punk as fuck, right?
Turns out, I was having a heart attack the whole time.
A few days later, it came back with a vengeance. I was rushed to the ER with sky-high Troponin levels, landing me three days in the hospital. The diagnosis? SCAD—Spontaneous Cardiac Arterial Dissection. It’s rare, random, and there’s no real fix. Rest, meds, and tenacity is the plan.
So here I am—still breathing, still fighting, and grateful for everyone helping me push through this. Punk rock’s a hell of a drug, but maybe, instead of running at 100mph, I’ll cruise at 85 for a little while.”

That’s right. Even after a heart attack, Bradley and L.A. Crimes kept pushing through—playing a show in just days after he nearly lost it all. Talk about living life in the fast lane.

And there’s even more coming your way. Mark your calendars – February 14th, they’re dropping another single—‘Love Song’—so get ready to be hit with another dose of their gritty, defiant energy.

So, whether you’re just discovering L.A. Crimes or you’ve been with them from the start, there’s no better time to dive in. With their relentless spirit, raw sound they’re proving that punk rock isn’t just a genre. It’s a way of life. And they’re living it, full throttle.
