Random Killing is a Canadian punk rock band from Toronto, who were assembled in 1984. Their original name was Roy’s Comrades, which was a nod to the hated Roy McMurtry, Attorney General of Ontario at the time. After writing a few decent songs, the band decided to record and stay together. In 2013 they were listed in the top 10 Punk bands of all time from Toronto.
Random Killing have performed from coast-to-coast in Canada and played with Canadian and International notables such as Dayglo Abortions, D.O.A., Propagandhi, Forgotten Rebels, Ripcordz, Armed and Hammered, Bunchofuckingoofs, Agnostic Front, Bad Brains, Dead Kennedys, Coffin Break, Submachine, The Restarts, UK Subs, The Vibrators and GBH.

The band is in their 30th year of slaying punk rock audiences all over Canada and they have released an album on vinyl called “Bring Out Your Dead” on Cursed Blessings records.
They released their first new album in almost 20 years in early 2023 on Toronto punk/metal label CURSED BLESSINGS RECORDS (owned by Al Nolan of Almighty Trigger Happy infamy) called “BRING OUT YOUR DEAD”. They will tour across Canada in May 2023 with fellow Canuck punk icons DAYGLO ABORTIONS.
Random Killing is one of the longest continuously active punk bands in Canada and are looking forward to celebrating their 40th anniversary in 2024.
