Spare Parts

Alright, here’s a casual and small Canadian-style review for ya:

So, let me tell ya ’bout Robbie Morön, eh? This Calgary punk rocker ain’t no rookie, bud. He’s the frontman for the punk posse, The Moröns. Last year, he dropped his solo album “Palooka Haymaker,” which we got wind of thanks to our buddies over at Trashed Ambulance. And now, he’s back at it again with his latest jam, “Spare Parts,” released this past 4/20.

This new batch of tunes, let me tell ya, it’s pure Morön style through and through. Think pop-punk vibes with a real kick. You got those catchy riffs that stick to ya like maple syrup on pancakes. And the lyrics? Well, they touch on all sorts, from being the odd ones out in a scene that ain’t too keen on grown-up rock to just plain old partying. Plus, Robbie throws in a good dose of humor to keep things light.

Now, lemme talk about my personal fave, “S.A.D.” and “Don;t Fit in” “Those tracks? It’s like a shot of adrenaline, buddy. The speed it kicks out? Whew, it’ll get ya movin’ faster than a hockey puck on ice.

So, if you’re into punk with a Canadian twist, give “Spare Parts” a spin, eh? You won’t be disappointed, I tell ya that much. Cheers to Robbie Morön for keepin’ the punk spirit alive and kickin’ up in the Great White North!
