Trinovantes

Alright, listen up, folks! We’ve got a real banger of an album to chat about today, straight outta Essex, UK. It’s the debut album “Trinovantes” J’s band Turn Left at the Jedi, featuring talented musicians and let me tell ya, it’s worth every bit of the wait. This bad boy dropped on April 22nd, and it’s a right mix-up of ska, punk, hardcore, and some dodgy mimicked jazz thrown in for good measure.

Now, these lads took a whopping 13 years to birth this baby, but let me tell ya, it was well worth it. The lyrics? Oh, they’re all about social media woes, dodgy promoters, and the peak of middle-aged grumbles. They’ve put together 11 tracks that’ll have you skankin’ and slammin’ faster than you can say “Oi!”

What really sets this album apart, though, is the proper English ska and skacore vibes, complete with some bloody brilliant wind instruments like the sax (Bella Edmunds), trumpet (Nikolas Platon) and fast drums (Brooks Farris) . And get this, my mate Ed Rome (Big Boy), bassist of Hinge, is the genius behind the mixing and mastering over at Slam Door Studios. He even chips in on the keys, bless him. Pure class, I tell ya.

Now, here’s the kicker: you can snag a copy for just a fiver! And get this, the band’s sticking it to the man by giving Spotify the ol’ middle finger. So, if you fancy supporting some proper talented blokes and getting your ska fix, don’t hesitate to grab yourself a digital copy here. Cheers to Turn Left at the Jedi for bringing some proper tunes to our ears!

Enjoy it!!!
