The 2nd edition of the most famous awards that nobody knows called “GOOD SHIT AWARDS 2021” on our Instagram profile; in which 214 bands from all over the world participated, with punk rock, ska and hardcore genres; from very new bands, to the ones best known by many like The Dwarves, Deviates, Punk Rock Factory, DFL and others ended …. without prejudice, everyone had the opportunity to face each other and show that you don’t need a great name to be able to make great material !!!

The event was a full gala with all the famous punk rockers netizens who came to give sincere support to their favorite bands, with a simple vote, publicating stories and inviting everyone to vote.

The Awards were divided into 5 categories: Best Album, Best Ep, Best Single, Best Cover and Best Split.

After a long trip of voting and a massive SPAM of more than a month and 20000 votes; On October 28 th, the winners chosen by all of you were finally revealed !!!

In the Best Cover category, the winners were the Australian punk rocker band NO QUARTER with their Metallica´s cover Damage, Inc. which in my opinion is very well elaborated, with that brutal weight that Metallica left embodied in that track; but the Australians managed to add their stamp … the first time I heard this band was with a cover of Pennywise (also very well executed), after that, I investigated and started listening to them more often (in fact they were one of my first post on the website) and to this date I follow up on them.

From Costa Rica, I congratulate the band for their material and for being winners of the stinkiest awards !!! I hope the recognition reaches Australia, thanks to those who raised their hands to sponsor this:
