Another year full of good shit as far as punk rock is concerned. In this 2022, the Good Shit Awards were held for the third time, where the public is the one who decides which have been the best releases; After a month full of spam on our instagram profile, inviting everyone to vote for their favourites, CONGRATULATIONS to the winners revealed in the 6 categories.
BEST ALBUM
Friends with the Enemy are a five-piece fast skatepunk band from Australia who really know what they are doing. They released their album “Divide & Conquer” under the Canadian label People of Punk Rock Records; an album with 10 fast tracks from start to finish, full of melodies and choirs 100% coupled with a female voice that has nothing to envy the big bands of the 90’s.

BEST EP
Reason to Leave are a four-piece hardcore/skatepunk band from Preston, United Kingdom. They were also nominated in the Best Cover category, but did’nt make it to the finals; despite that they managed to get the title of Best EP with their DIY material “Waste Of Our Time”, which comes with 6 tracks that bring you back to those early 2000’s bands like ENSIGN, FLOORPUNCH and IN MY EYES, but giving that unique touch of the band, that for something people chose them.

Trashed Ambulance is a skate punk trio formed in 2014 from the city of Alberta, Canada. They released their well-crafted third LP “Future Considerations” on Canadian independent label Thousand Island Records, from which came the single “Stalk in the Park (featuring Robbie Morön and Émilie Plamondon)” which won the category.
